Between Worlds

 ELIZABETH RUSSELL-ARNOT

‘A life lived in a rapidly changing world, observed and expressed through art. ‘

The journey from the 1950’s to the year 2016 has been one of dramatic change. The artist finds herself responding to the rapid changes in many ways. Socially, emotionally, philosophically, environmentally and creatively. The changing world has produced so many new options in choice of materials, media, and means of expression, experimentation and expansion of what is now classified as art. The exhibition reflects the artists journey through these changes, looking at the way in which we move headlong into the future, regardless of consequence, yet still try to hold on to the pieces of the past that link us to the perception of a safer past. Elizabeth’s main investigation is in the area of human behaviour.

Artwork from this exhibition is no longer available to purchase.
