Resonating with Nature
QING YANG (JANE)
"I love everything that Nature has to offer. It imbues people with energy and spirit. Through interacting with the Nature, one cannot help but become in tune with it.
The sunlight in Australia is so pure that it gives birth to uniquely bright and therapeutic colours. Flowers are seen in all four seasons; every corner is filled with birds’ singing. These are the lifeblood of Nature, as well as the sources of my inspiration.
‘The richness I achieve comes from nature, the sources of my inspiration’ (Claude Monet).
Flowers are like human faces; they are reflections of the human soul. By listening to their conversation and by mixing pigment with water, I can endow my illustrations of flowers with new life and vitality.
Paul Cezanne remarked, ‘If I were called upon to define Art, I shall call it the reproduction of what the senses perceive in nature, seen through the veil of the soul.’ For me, beauty is by no means hidden. Every creature in the heavens above and in the Earth beneath mingle with one another in harmony.
The process of my creation is a combination of subjective reflection with the objective world. I am always fascinated by the graceful and rhythmic elements of nature expressing their beauty purely and completely." QY
